Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed Alignment: W2 or C2C Overview We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Developer to support the technical foundation, installation, configuration, and security hardening of the SAP landscape enabling the MRP pilot initiative. This role will ensure the SAP platform is deployed, maintained, and secured in accordance with Department of Energy (DOE) cybersecurity and infrastructure requirements. The position follows a hybrid delivery model, requiring on-site collaboration during key implementation milestones and remote support for system administration, monitoring, and technical maintenance.

Description
* Install, configure, and maintain SAP environments supporting MRP and related supply chain processes.
* Manage SAP transport management, client administration, and landscape architecture.
* Configure and maintain secure system communications, including SSL/TLS, Single Sign-On (SSO), and authentication services.
* Apply SAP Notes, system patches, and kernel upgrades to maintain system stability and security.
* Monitor system performance, conduct performance tuning, and support capacity planning activities.
* Support secure integration with external enterprise systems and infrastructure services.
* Ensure the SAP environment complies with federal cybersecurity policies and DOE security requirements.
* Produce and maintain technical documentation, system architecture diagrams, and configuration records. Requirements
* 5+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience
* Experience supporting SAP ECC or SAP S/4

HANA environments
* Strong Linux system administration experience
* Experience working with enterprise database platforms (SAP HANA preferred)
* Experience operating within regulated or federal environments
