Data Analyst, Systems Engineer
Hiring Configuation Management Specialist II / Logistician with strong CMPro experience to work on-site in North Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory of all System Integration Lab (SIL) hardware and software.
- Conduct physical inventory of all SIL equipment monthly.
- Document all issues related to SIL logistics and actions performed to resolve them.
- Maintain configuration and change control for all data item deliverables in accordance with MIL-HDBK-61A.
- Develop and maintain a Configuration Management Plan that defines configuration management (CM) processes, standards, and procedures for the SIL
- Identify, label, verify and perform configuration control of all hardware and software in the SIL.
- Catalog all test data, test results, analysis products, and reporting artifacts. Maintain version control using the Government’s database (currently CMPro).
- Conduct regular audits of the configuration items in the Government’s database (currently CMPRO) to validate accuracy and completeness. Identify inconsistencies with recommended resolutions to the Government.
- Participate in Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and provide configuration management technical expertise to the testing team.
- 3 years logistics experience focused on configuration control and CM.
- 3 years experience operating CMPRO software.
- 3 years experience in defense lifecycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.
- 1 year experience supporting C4
ISR or similar systems to include: analyzing engineering/systems management data, developing logistics plans and procedures. - Effective written and verbal skills.
- Active Interim Secret or higher level of clearance.
Qualifications:
- USMC operational experience performing logistics activities for a tactical unit.
- Preferred Degree:
Bachelor of Science (BS) / Bachelor of Arts (BS) degree. Will substitute BS/BA degree for 6-years relevant military experience.
