MQ/MQIPT Support Admin
This position requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to support and manage MQ and MQIPT systems. The candidate must be a US citizen and able to work directly on W2 for Artech. The role involves a 6-month on-site commitment with potential for extension. The position is available in multiple locations including Seattle, Dallas/Plano, St. Louis, Charleston SC, and Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.
Required Skills &
Qualifications:
- Extensive MQ and MQIPT experience
- Proven experience with MQ and MQIPT installation, administration, and troubleshooting
- Experience working with IBM to create trouble tickets and resolve unforeseen issues
- Strong knowledge of x.509 certificates
- Strong knowledge of Linux shell scripting and administration
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills &
Qualifications:
- Perl script and C experience
- Experience with MQ upgrades, decommissions, and new deployments
- SAFE Agile ADO adherence
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot MQ and MQIPT
- Keep up with the latest versions and patches for IBM MQ and MQIPT
- Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Renew, manage, and troubleshoot x.509 certificates
- Implement and maintain MQ and MQIPT security
- Set up and maintain documentation and standards
- Create and adhere to Ticketing SLA's
- Mentor and implement best practices
