This position serves as the senior systems engineering lead responsible for enterprise infrastructure design, integration, and modernization. The individual leads efforts across compute, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud environments, supporting the transition from legacy data centers to centrally managed, scalable infrastructure aligned with DHA and NIWC objectives. The role requires expertise in server virtualization, storage systems, enterprise networking, and cloud integration, including platforms such as VMware, Red Hat virtualization technologies, and DoD-approved cloud environments.

The individual must support enterprise onboarding, capacity planning, and infrastructure standardization across geographically distributed environments.

• Education requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware VCP, AWS or Azure certifications, or Red Hat certifications are expected. A Secret clearance is required, as the role supports environments involving classified and sensitive operational systems.
• 10+ years in DoD enterprise architecture
