Job Summary
Chamberlain Group is seeking an experienced IT Enterprise Applications leader to collaborate with business stakeholders, elicit, design, configure, develop, test, implement, support, and maintain applications that enable PLM business processes. The role focuses on PTC Wind Chill, Creo, and related applications.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of technical and functional resources to design, configure, develop, test, implement, and support applications that enable PLM business processes.
- Lead cross‑functional stakeholders and IT analysts to understand business processes, identify gaps and pain points, and guide the team in eliciting, defining, and analyzing business requirements.
- Lead project teams to design solution proposals that meet requirements and adhere to platform and application design guidelines, industry best practices, and PTC Wind Chill standards.
- Oversee creation of functional and technical specifications; review deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and long‑term supportability.
- Work with stakeholders to manage and prioritize the backlog, creating schedules for delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop documentation, training materials, and support training delivery and organizational change management.
- Maintain production systems to meet service levels; create resource plans to ensure support coverage.
- Drive continuous improvement in business processes and IT operations, researching and representing industry best practices.
- Manage end‑to‑end project delivery, including work estimates, schedules, issue and risk resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, confidentiality, and organizational policies.
- Lead performance management, compensation communication, feedback, and employee development processes.
- Maintain transparent, regular communication with the team through meetings, one‑on‑one discussions, and other communication channels.
- Create a workplace culture consistent with Chamberlain Group’s mission, vision, and values.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
- Minimum 9 years of experience in Information Technology, preferentially in applications development or configuration.
- Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience with PTC Wind Chill configuration.
- At least one full lifecycle implementation of PTC Wind Chill, including the Blueprint phase.
- Minimum 7 years of experience with PLM business processes (New Product Development, Product Lifecycle Management, Documentation Change Control, Issue Tracking, CAD Modeling).
- Strong skills in systems analysis, problem analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and technical error resolution across multiple technologies.
- Experience managing and leading cross‑functional teams and projects.
- Ability to create work breakdown structures, project plans, and resource plans for medium‑sized, complex projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, articulating business perspectives and driving decisions.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science.
- Experience with CAD tools such as Creo.
- Experience with PTC MPMLink and Project Link.
- Experience with Atlassian software.
- Experience in a consumer durable goods manufacturing company or equivalent.
- Occasional domestic travel.
