Job SummaryThe desired candidate will work closely with the functional leads, software developers and product owners to perform analysis and testing. The candidate will review functional specifications and develop test scripts to ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the creation, modification, and execution of test plans and scripts in support of SIT, Regression and UAT activities.
- Responsible for analyzing issues/defects.
- Work closely with software developers, the client, functional analysts, and the scrum team to plan and coordinate functional testing of the application.
- Author and maintain software test cases and procedures in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Author test reports and defect tracking activities.
- Work closely with product owners, functional analysts and developers to understand the acceptance criteria and support required testing activities.
- Responsible for conducting demonstrations of the functionality to the client at the end of each iteration.
- Assists in development of user guides and training materials.
- Degree required in the field of IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Management, or relevant work experience.
- Skilled in creating software test plans, test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and test data conditions.
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate with members of a software development or systems engineering team to accomplish project team goals and objectives.
- Proficient in productivity tools, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Knowledge and experience in an Agile development environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
