Job Description
Assist Media & Technology Manager in coordination and implementation of all phases of information systems and support employees in troubleshooting and resolving computer-related issues.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone
Duties / Responsibilities- Handles inquiries from users on a variety of software and hardware issues.
- Assists users with installation of software and troubleshooting of related problems; refers more complicated issues to appropriate staff.
- Communicates regularly with other members of the support team to discuss recurring problems and to share solutions and best practices.
- Assists with larger upgrades and system maintenance on software and hardware (After hours and weekend scheduling is possible).
- Attends training sessions on new equipment, software, platforms, and other products; assists with development of user manuals and similar documentation for these products.
- Serves as secondary contact for the Bar’s Association Management System.
- Knowledge of, or willingness to, learn Audio/Video technologies to provide backup support for SC Bar Media Department.
- Supports SC Bar Committees and Sections.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent and at least two years of work-related experience.
- Thorough understanding of computer hardware, including desktop computers, laptops, network devices, and peripherals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience with Windows Active Directory.
- Proficient with installation and maintenance of Windows and Mac OS (Server and Workstation).
- Ability to analyze data and provide solutions to problems.
- Basic knowledge of network security.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
