Position: Systems Administrator III with Security Clearance
Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides Government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. VNE also develops training courses and tools to prepare warfighters to effectively employ tactical intelligence systems and provide management guidance to the Government organizations that develop these systems. VNE is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) founded in 2004 in Stafford, VA. Qualifications VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI/CI Poly Cleared Systems Administrator III

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

* Master's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

Experience:

* Seven (7) years professional experience in systems administration. Experience in:
* Administering and supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers. Duties typically involve the installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation
* Maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services
* Training staff on software applicable to their position, assists customers with information technology, monitors system configuration (hardware and software), and provides instruction on computers and applications
* TS/SCI/CI Poly level Clearance required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Certifications:

Industry standards for certifications change often and should not be codified in position descriptions unless certain certifications are required for the specific position sought by a particular contract AND the certification is not likely to change during the contract development, competition, and award. It is recommended that verbiage requiring compliance with the Cyber Work Force (CWF) directives be added to the contract which will invoke required certifications for this position.

It is expected the CWF directives will be maintained up-to-date with respect to certifications.

Job Description:

The scope of work covers systems engineering, technical, and management support services for the government and its associated acquisition, technology, logistics, and program management offices. Support is provided to multiple stakeholders responsible for the development, integration, and sustainment of specialized operational capabilities. The scope of support includes program management, engineering analysis and design, configuration management, testing, quality control, sustainment, cybersecurity, training, and field service representative (FSR) support for a static collection capability that functions as a subsystem within a larger integrated system.

This is in support of the development, production, and sustainment of specialized intelligence capabilities. Configuration management and associated systems engineering activities are conducted through a collaborative effort among multiple government and partner organizations to ensure interoperability, performance, and lifecycle support.…
