Position: Operations Specialist (Software Engineering, Senior Analyst) with Security Clearance
Summary The MIL Corporation seeks an Operations Specialist (Software Engineering, Senior Analyst) to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, South Carolina location. The Operations Specialist will provide analysis and production-readiness support for the Operations Unit. This role will support the development, preparation, execution, and monitoring of operational processes, including file exchanges, data archiving, and the secure delivery of data to internal and external stakeholders.

This position will work closely with stakeholders to support the development of operational procedures, assist with pre-production planning, and contribute to the transition of business processes into a stable production environment. This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements. Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, integrate and automate application and operating system tasks through an automated batch scheduler with focus on efficiency and automation
* Develop, document, and execute daily, bi-weekly, monthly, and annual operating procedures to support the production financial systems
* Perform the installation of application software and core database software upgrades, patches, and hotfixes
* Analyze and correct both functional and technical issues that arise as a result of executing daily, bi-weekly, monthly, and annual operating procedures
* Plan, test, and execute continuity of operations plans for all applicable systems
* Must place emphasis on teamwork and work well in a team-oriented environment
* Plan, organize and manage the configuration, install, optimize, administer, and maintain financial systems supported by the Unit
* Provide efficient analysis and troubleshooting of production issues, both during and after normal business hours, to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and metrics are maintained or exceeded
* Software systems utilized include the following - Oracle 18c+, SQL Server 2012+, People Soft Payroll/Time & Labor, Momentum Financials, Business Objects Enterprise, SAP HANA, SQL/SQL Plus, Windows Server 2016+, Windows 7+, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+, Microsoft Power Platform, and BMC Control-M. Travel None

Required Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in systems development, requirements development, and/or automated financial systems analysis
* Must have the ability to effectively communicate technical as well as non-technical information, both orally and in writing Desired Qualifications
* Experience working with financial management systems
* Experience with BMC Control-M
* Experience with People Tools based People Soft HCM
* Experience working with both Windows and Linux operating systems Education BA/BS desired in computer science, business, or closely related field desired. Clearance All applicants for this position must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance issued by DoS. Clearance is not required to apply. Additional benefits and incentives may also apply, which will be communicated during the hiring process. For this position, the projected compensation range is $105,000 - $145,000 per year.

This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.
