Overview
The Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office seeks a Junior Windows System Administrator to support senior staff in deploying, managing, and securing Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 tenant environments. This role provides technical support, manages system patching, implements configuration changes, completes deployments, and assists with end-user support within a fast-paced environment. The position reports to senior IT staff and requires the ability to work with limited supervision while continuously learning new technologies.
Qualifications- High school diploma and experience in computer system development in on-premises, cloud-based, or hybrid environments (or associate/bachelor's degree in related field)
- Experience managing Windows workstations or servers in a professional environment
- Experience with Active Directory Objects management (users, groups, computers)
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center including Exchange Online, Intune, Entra, and Share Point
- Experience with Windows Server Administration including patching, monitoring, and server role configuration
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on-site or remote locations within the Midlands area
