Engineer, Computer III

The Engineer, Computer III provides advanced engineering support for enterprise virtualization, cloud integration, and infrastructure modernization initiatives within the DHA CIMPLE environment.

Essential Job Functions:

• Engineer, implement, and maintain VMware and Citrix virtualization environments.
• Support enterprise infrastructure modernization and technical refresh initiatives.
• Analyze system performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
• Assist with cloud integration and hybrid infrastructure initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, RMF, and operational standards.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of VMware and Citrix technologies.
• Understanding of enterprise systems engineering, virtualization, and cloud integration.
• Knowledge of networking, storage, server administration, and cybersecurity principles.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support complex enterprise IT environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three (3) years of technical experience in support of VMWare or Citrix projects.
• The contractor shall have a TOP SECRET (TS) facility clearance (FCL) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access (TS/SCI).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and enterprise storage technologies.
