Computer Systems Analyst III

Position Overview

Computer System Analyst III – VNE, Charleston, SC (Full‑time). Salary $90,000.00 – $98,000.00.

• Provide systems lifecycle support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic.
• Support testing and evaluation (T&E) for DCGS‑MC, participating in WIPTs, working groups, CCBs, and engineering review groups.
• Provide cybersecurity support to DCGS‑MC, implementing and maintaining cybersecurity practices throughout the acquisition life cycle.
• Support configuration management (CM) for the DCGS‑MC program (hardware and software), including CM planning, baseline management, configuration identification, control, audits, and formal reviews.
• Execute quality management (QA/QC) processes, establish PPQA procedures, and ensure requirements are met before submission of documentation, supplies, products, and services to DCGS‑MC leadership.

• Communicate task requirement information to clients clearly and concisely.
• Sit and stand for prolonged periods and lead or participate in meetings and working groups.
• Use a keyboard and attend work during scheduled hours unless traveling or having approved time off.
• Work on a computer for long periods and communicate via telephone, email, and in‑person.

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Certifications: Must possess or obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP within six months of hire; must work toward a professional software engineering or vendor‑specific certification (e.g., Microsoft, Red Hat, Cisco, Oracle, VMware, or Cloud) within 1½years.
• Experience: Five (5) years of computerized system experience including design, development, test, and evaluation; network protocols; LAN administration fundamentals;
  Unix and Windows OS.
• Experience with a C4
  
  ISR Program of Record (e.g., DCGS‑MC All Source, DCGS‑MC GEOINT, or DCGS‑MC SIGINT).
• Up to 10% travel.
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Bash scripting; experience with containerization technology.
• Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred.

• Experience with Ansible.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with Red Hat Open Shift.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
