Location: Appleton, WI (100% Onsite, 5 days/week, 8 AM – 5 PM CST)

Job Description:

As part of the router build and integration team, you will be responsible for:

• Provisioning Cisco and Nokia routers (including IXRE Si0 Series 7750) in a complex mobile network.
• Building configuration files and integrating routers into the Verizon network.
• Collaborating with field engineers to bring sites online.
• Performing transport circuit testing (fiber validation).
• Troubleshooting configuration and performance issues.
• Managing work orders via internal Verizon tools like Fuze (prior experience not required).
• Supporting router upgrades and circuit migrations.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong Cisco router background (CCNA preferred).
• TCP/IP and OSI model understanding.
• Knowledge of transport architecture.
• Hands-on experience with router provisioning and telecom switching.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Ciena and Ericsson AMOS.
• Previous Verizon Wireless switch or network support experience.
• This role is not field-based – no physical installation is expected.
• No scripting or work with legacy switches (5
  
  VSS or DMS) is required.
• Wireless experience with Cisco preferred; enterprise-level experience also acceptable.
