Field Service Engineer 2, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing medical imaging and diagnostic equipment to ensure optimal healthcare service delivery.
ObjectivesPerforming preventative maintenance, resolving service issues, leading equipment installations, and driving customer satisfaction through service excellence.
ResponsibilitiesManaging customer relationships, escalating issues as needed, adhering to regulatory and hospital protocols, and supporting revenue growth through upselling value-added services.
QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience servicing medical equipment; or military equivalent; or a high school diploma with 6+ years of industry experience.
Must hold a valid driver's license and be comfortable working onsite at healthcare facilities within the Columbia SC area, with potential overnight travel.
SkillsExperience with medical device troubleshooting, service repair, installations, customer communication, and familiarity with web applications and Microsoft Office.
PreferredExperience servicing advanced modalities such as X-ray, CT, or Nuclear Medicine equipment.
High-value specificsServicing imaging modalities, working in hospital environments, regulatory compliance, GxP, and clinical support.
Work setupOnsite support with a company-provided vehicle; travel as needed.
