As Charleston’s leading pool builder, we believe that proper maintenance is key to extending the life and beauty of a swimming pool. This role ensures customers enjoy a safe and pristine pool experience by performing routine cleaning, chemical balancing, and equipment inspections.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing a designated route, maintaining pool cleanliness, testing and balancing chemicals, and inspecting equipment for optimal performance. This role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

- Reports To: Maintenance Coordinator
Pool Maintenance & Cleaning:
- Service pools on an assigned route, ensuring thorough cleaning and upkeep.
- Test water chemistry and adjust chemicals to maintain proper balance.
- Skim, vacuum, brush, and empty baskets to keep pools free of debris.
- Perform equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
- Load and prepare work truck daily with necessary supplies.
- Maintain inventory of chemicals and small parts.
- Ensure all chemicals are stored safely and transported properly.
- Keep trucks clean and organized, disposing of waste appropriately.
- Document all maintenance activities in the SF app, including before/after photos.
- Communicate any issues or repairs needed to the Maintenance Coordinator.
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring pools are safe and pristine.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience & Training:
- Orenda Water Chemistry Training (or willingness to complete).
- Pentair University Training (or willingness to complete).
Skills &
Physical Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
