The Budd Group is NOW HIRING a Full-Time Floor Technician for an educational campus in the Downtown area of Charleston
- Monday through Friday (No Weekends!)
- Set Schedule (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
- NEXT DAY PAY through Dayforce Wallet Mobile App
- FREE PARKING upon issue of a badge
- FREE BUS FARE upon issue of badge
- On the Bus Route
- Maintaining cleanliness of VCT, LVT, and some tile.
- Operating floor cleaning machines such as buffers, strippers, and burnishers
- Will be using the equipment to buff out scuff marks in flooring
- Dust and wet mopping
- Stripping and waxing during winter and summer breaks
- Making sure all flooring is free of debris, dust, and dirt
- All other duties will be assigned
- Must be able to walk on city sidewalks
- Must be able to go up and down stairs for cleaning purposes
- Bending, stooping, crouching and lifting up to 40 pounds
- Candidate must have prior experience with flooring, stripping, waxing and equipment. Candidates with no prior floor tech experience will not be contacted. This is not an entry level position.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
