An automotive dealer in Charleston SC is seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to lead our administrative and accounting operations. This role is central to the dealership’s success — ensuring accurate financial processes, smooth workflow, and strong support for both leadership and frontline teams. Key Responsibilities – Office Manager:
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative workflow
- Supervise and support office staff, including accounting and title clerks
- Manage AP/AR, bank deposits, schedules, and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate posting of deals, inventory, and financial data
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including DMV and accounting requirements
- Coordinate with department managers to support sales, service, and parts operations
- Prepare reports for leadership, including monthâ€'end and audit documentation
- Maintain vendor relationships, office supplies, and facility needs
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, payroll coordination, and personnel file management
- Uphold dealership policies, confidentiality, and operational standards
Qualifications:
- Previous automotive dealership office management experience required
- CDK experience preferred but not required
- Solid understanding of dealership accounting processes and DMV/title requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastâ€'paced environment
- Professional, dependable, and solutionsâ€'oriented
- Valid driver’s license
