TIG & Pulse MIG Welder
Location: North Charleston, SC (Naval Shipyard)
Pay: Up to $36/hour (based on experience)
Shift: 1st shift
Overtime: Unlimited overtime available
We are hiring an experienced TIG & Pulse MIG Welder to support precision manufacturing and fabrication work at a naval shipyard in North Charleston. This role supports the national defense and shipbuilding industry, including welding and fabrication of large propulsion shafts and critical ship components used on U.S. Navy vessels.

ResponsibilitiesPerform high‑quality TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel components
Perform Pulse MIG welding on fabricated and structural components
Fabricate, fit, and weld parts to precise specifications and tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings
Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning prior to welding
Perform multi‑position welds while maintaining quality and consistency
Conduct visual inspections and make necessary repairs or corrections
Work safely in a shipyard environment around large components, cranes, and rigging
Collaborate with machinists, fitters, and inspectors to meet production requirements
RequirementsProven experience with TIG welding
Proven experience with MIG Pulse welding
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
Experience in an industrial, heavy fabrication, shipyard, or defense environment
Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
Ability to work 1st shift with overtime as desired
PreferredShipyard or defense‑related welding experience
Experience welding large components or heavy‑wall material
Ability to pass a TIG and Pulse MIG weld test
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
