Charge Nurse - PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown

Schedule

3x12-hour shifts, Day shift from 07:00 to 19:30

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team in the PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in managing patients with complex medical conditions and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of patient care and management of dysrhythmias.
• Administration of blood products and management of central and peripheral lines.
• Titration management for cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Collaboration with Rapid Response and Code teams.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and appropriate PPE usage.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience in a PCU or similar setting.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with Community Hospital charting system.
• Active South Carolina RN License or proof of application for licensure.
