Shift: Will work 3x12s, NIGHTS, 7P-730A, holiday requirement if contract is during that period Weekend REQ:
Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule for nights (to include Fri/ Sat/ Sun) Is on-call REQ: N/A Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 - mixed unit with ICU and Stepdown patients, so ratios vary Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Experience Preferred: ECMO, CRRT License REQ: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license Certs REQ: BLS, PALS (MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA)) Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs. Local radius: 60 miles Locals accepted: yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate. RTO Restrictions: all RTO must be submitted at time of submission.

The Pediatric Intensive Care unit is a 28-bed unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children ages 0-18 from across the state of South Carolina. The unit cares for patients with a blend of medical and surgical diagnoses. Common diagnoses include, but are not limited to, respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative surgical patients requiring immediate intensive care support, and neurology/neurosurgery. In addition to ventilatory and cardiac support, the unit provides ECMO/CRRT, renal or peritoneal dialysis and additional complex supportive therapies .

Pediatric Palliative care is available as needed. The staffing mix includes Registered Nurses, Patient Care Technicians, and Unit Secretaries with therapeutic supportive services such as Respiratory Therapy, Pediatric Dietitians, and Pediatric Pharmacist available as needed.
