Registered Nurse

Position: Registered Nurse - OR
ACI Health, Inc. is seeking multiple Registered Nurses - Operating Room (OR) for a 1-year federal assignment in Charleston, SC.

This role offers RNs with recent OR experience the opportunity to serve in a federal healthcare setting while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

The OR RN will provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients, administer medications, and ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards. Responsibilities include circulating and/or scrubbing during surgical procedures and maintaining the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established patient care plans and protocols.
• Administer medications in compliance with facility and federal guidelines.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures and respond promptly to medical needs.
• Function as a circulator and/or scrub nurse in the operating room as assigned.
• Adhere to all infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Maintain compliance with quality assurance, facility, and federal standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as an OR Registered Nurse.
• Active RN license in South Carolina or valid multi-state compact license.
• BLS Certification (Required).
• COVID-19 vaccination (Required).
• Seasonal flu vaccination and TB/PPD test (Required).
• Must successfully complete drug screening and federal background investigation.
• U.S. Citizenship required (for federal employment eligibility).

Training

• One (1) day of on-site training is provided before assignment start.
