Hours:

Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
*** This is a six bay 23-hour observation unit inside a surgery center PACU, which is inside a large clinic. Planned staffing will be a two-RN's and one-PCT staffing model, with the possibility of a 1-RN, 1

PCT model some nights. Building security is present overnight and moves to inside the surgery center waiting room after the clinic closes, about 8pm. Unit cares for variety of patients and different services to include:
Orthopedics (total joints, arthroscopy cases, hand cases, shoulder & elbow cases), Interventional Radiology (VIR), & GI (upper and lower scopes). The pre/post RN works closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and OR nurses to provide safe and effective patient care in a fast-paced environment.
