Description:

The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse.
The shift is 3x12s from 6:30 AM to 7 PM on Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday.
On-call requirements will be determined based on unit needs.
The role may involve floating between like units or sister facilities.
A minimum of 2 years of experience is strongly preferred.
First-time travelers are accepted.
Candidates must have required certifications including BLS.
A radiation badge will be provided by the agency.
Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is preferred.
The facility is a busy academic trauma center, featuring 21 operating room suites.
Surgical specialties include Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.
Registered Nurses in this setting are trained to both scrub and circulate during surgical procedures.
This is a nurse-driven department, recognized for providing cutting-edge technology.
Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity occurring in August and September.
