BLS, PALS (American Heart Association)

Must-Have:

Experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred
Ability to float within all Pediatric units

Description:

We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care float pool RN.
The position involves working 3 shifts of 12 hours each week, totaling 36 hours.
Weekend rotation is required every other weekend, along with holiday rotation.
The nurse will float to meet the facility's needs across all Pediatric units.
The nurse-patient ratios will be approximately 1:2 to 1:3.
First-time travelers are accepted if they have the required experience.
Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is essential.
Nurses will be responsible for patient care involving isolation precautions and central line management.
Additional skills required include management of chest tubes and care of ventilated patients.
All candidates must adhere to strict RTO guidelines, with all requests submitted at the time of application.
Candidates should be aware of potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season.
Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September.
All selected candidates will be required to comply with the facility's orientation and training protocols.
