Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
License:
South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required.

Certifications:

BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only).
Must-Have:

Experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred.

Description:

Pediatric Critical Care float pool RN needed.
Shift will consist of 3 twelve-hour days per week.
Weekend work is required every other weekend, with holiday rotation.
Patient-to-nurse ratios will be 1:2 or 1:3.
The RN will float to all pediatric units as needed.
Candidates must have two years of Pediatric ICU experience.
First-time travelers are accepted if they meet experience requirements.
Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis but may be considered at a reduced rate.
All requests for time off must be submitted with the application.
Approval for time off is based on unit needs.
Travelers must be aware they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak months in August and September.
Travelers should not confirm new assignments during the hurricane season.
Candidates must comply with pre-start requirements on time.
All modules are non-billable and averaged to take four hours to complete.
Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until the South Carolina license is active.
Only one application to a unit/campus is allowed at a time.
