Position Overview

Trident Medical Center is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Travel RN to join their high‑volume cardiovascular team. With two procedural labs and approximately 10 cases per day, this position requires a strong background in cardiac procedures, emergency medications, and rapid decision‑making in high‑acuity environments.

Travelers are scheduled according to facility policy and are expected to work every other weekend as well as rotating holidays alongside core hospital staff.

  • LHC (Left Heart Catheterization)
  • PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
  • TAVR
  • PPM (Permanent Pacemaker)
  • Impella
  • IABP

• Equipment: GE X‑ray
• Documentation Systems: Maclab, Meditech

• 7–9 call days per month
• Must include at least 1 weekend of call

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience required (Cath Lab experience mandatory)
• Strong background in:
  • Emergency medications
  • High‑acuity cardiac patients
  • Interventional cardiology procedures

• Current RN License
• (ACLS required at most facilities — confirm with facility if needed)
