- End Date: June 29, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (06:30 – 19:00), Monday–Friday (36 hours/week)
- On-Call: Yes, 5–8 call shifts per month (including a weekend); holiday call may be required
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250 (estimated pay for CVOR travel nurse)
- Charting: Epic (Epic charting experience preferred)
- Parking: Onsite garage parking available with a one-time $20 registration fee
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience required (cardiovascular operating room nurse)
- Must be able to scrub and circulate complex open and endovascular cases: FEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, TEVAR, Open AAA, thrombectomy, AV fistulas, carotid procedures, amputations
- Active South Carolina RN license or compact/multi-state RN license (must be in hand at start of contract)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
- Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
- Community hospital experience required;
Level I/II trauma and LTAC experience preferred - Previous charge experience and Epic charting experience preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Scrub and circulate for a wide range of complex cardiovascular and vascular procedures, including FEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, TEVAR, AAA repairs, thrombectomy, carotid procedures, AV fistulas, and amputations
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative team to ensure safe, efficient case flow and positive patient outcomes
- Maintain strict sterile technique and anticipate procedural needs as both a scrub nurse and circulator
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized OR equipment and instrumentation used in cardiovascular and endovascular cases
- Accurately document perioperative care and patient events using Epic (Epic EMR)
- Participate in required on-call coverage and respond promptly to urgent/emergent cases
- Float to similar units as needed while maintaining high standards of care, patient safety, and teamwork
- Work in a top-tier Level I Trauma Center and Magnet-designated teaching hospital — excellent for CVOR RNs looking to expand skills
