Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – 2nd Shift
We are hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our 2nd Shift at Hunter Ridge – Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) in Humboldt, TN. This is a full‑time, on‑site position with a schedule of Monday – Friday, 4pm – 12am. Compensation is $30.42 per hour with no sign‑on bonus or relocation package offered.
Job Responsibilities- Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services.
- Provide health‑related training to unlicensed personnel.
- Administer medications and treatments or assist in medication administration.
- Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled.
- Conduct medication‑centered assessments and collect health data.
- Observe for and report any abnormal health findings to the physician.
- Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Advocate for residents and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health.
- Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program.
- Current nursing license with no restrictions.
- Current CPR certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
- Effective communication skills with interdisciplinary team members, residents and families.
- Ability to work independently, be organized and prioritize tasks.
- Regularly lift up to 20 pounds, and at least 40 pounds as needed.
- Pull a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Perform squatting, kneeling, crawling, crouching, climbing, stooping, standing and walking as required.
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level.
- Criminal background check (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities).
- Drug testing.
- Education verification and credentialing.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required).
