RN Mother Baby PRN

About the Position

Under the direction of the Nursing Director or Supervisor, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for the care of postpartum mother/baby combinations or other clinical duties as assigned. The RN directs all nursing care for patients based on established clinical practice and federal, state, and local regulations.

The RN incorporates knowledge of patient’s age‑specific development and cultural values into the plan of care and contributes to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration that demonstrate positive outcomes in the delivery of patient care. The role may include direct supervision of students, with the RN providing primary caregiver support throughout the shift.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitation certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent

This position does not require travel.
