Overview
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner specialized in Orthopedic Surgery for an inpatient role in South Carolina.
Responsibilities- Managing complex orthopedic trauma cases, including OR coverage and ICU rounding.
- Providing ED support, consultations, post-operative care, and overnight call coverage.
- Handling a daily patient volume of approximately 20 patients.
- Performing reductions and washout procedures using the eClinical Works EMR system.
- Prescriptive authority and ACLS or ATLS certification are required.
- Providing comprehensive orthopedic trauma surgery coverage, including day shifts and 24-hour call shifts on weekends.
- Support staff includes ED personnel and RNs.
- On-site position with no specified contract length.
- Experience in orthopedic trauma care.
- Ability to manage complex cases and perform procedures.
- Strong communication and clinical skills.
