Nurse Practitioner NP Primary Care

Position Overview

Primary Care Nurse Practitioner – Join our dynamic Primary Care Team in Irving, Texas.

• Diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities, including preventive health‑care measures.
• Implement diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions.
• Provide verbal and written communication with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
• Employ interpersonal skills to build therapeutic relationships.
• Use critical thinking and complex problem‑solving skills to manage complex clinical cases.
• Utilize computers and related software applications for documentation and patient care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, outcome‑based patient treatment plans.
• Counsel patients regarding medical and psychological conditions, treatment options, and behavior modification.
• Interpret and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests.

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Minimum 4 years of primary‑care Nurse Practitioner experience.
• Certified Primary Care or Family Nurse Practitioner (National certification).
• Current Texas Nurse Practitioner license, or ability to obtain one.
• Texas RN licence or RN licence with compact privilege from a compact‑state, plus Texas APRN licence.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
