Health Trust Workforce Solutions HCA is looking for an RN or HCA to travel as a Med‑Surg nurse in Charleston, South Carolina.
Position Details- Specialty:
Med Surg - Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Hours:
36 per week - Shift: 12‑hour days or nights
- Employment Type:
Travel
- Beds: 30 (fully opened in March/April), currently 18 with renovations in progress
- Patient Ratio: 6‑7:1
- Team nursing approach with techs on the unit; staff includes unit secretaries, techs on day shift, and a free Charge Nurse supporting the team
- Equipment:
Regular Med Surg - Documentation System:
Meditech
- Must work 4 weekend shifts every 4‑week scheduling period
- Float to similar units as needs dictate
- Perform hourly safety rounds
- Conduct bedside shift reports with the patient
- BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (can be obtained here)
- Advanced skill set required (specific procedures to be confirmed with unit)
