Schedule: Shifts consist of 4×10‑hour (07:30 – 18:00) or 3×12‑hour (07:00 – 19:00) rotations, with potential weekend and on‑call requirements.
Job DescriptionThe Vascular Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse is responsible for providing critical care in a fast‑paced environment, specializing in vascular interventional procedures for adult and pediatric patients. The role includes monitoring patients undergoing procedures, administering moderate sedation, and ensuring a high level of patient care and safety during interventional procedures.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Vascular Interventional Radiology department.
- Monitor patients pre‑, intra‑, and post‑procedure, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Administer moderate sedation as required.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Attend to patients’ needs and respond to emergencies as they arise.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in ER, trauma, ICU, or critical care environments.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Active South Carolina or Compact State Nursing License.
- Experience in pediatric/adult vascular IR preferred.
- Comfortable working with radiation and adhering to safety protocols.
- Pay package based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation); tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
