Job Description Summary
The Burn Program Clinical Program Coordinator reports to the Burn Program Manager. The Coordinator assists in facilitating care delivery for burn patients across the continuum.
- Promoting optimal outcomes for burn patients
- Reducing readmissions
- Providing patient and family education
- Educating staff
- Facilitating reduction in length of stay
- Coordinating standards of care from admission to discharge

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
- Three years of related nursing experience in specialty area
- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
- Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA) may be required for some positions
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required
