Clinical Care Coordinator

Job Description Summary

The Burn Program Clinical Program Coordinator reports to the Burn Program Manager. The Coordinator assists in facilitating care delivery for burn patients across the continuum.

• Promoting optimal outcomes for burn patients
• Reducing readmissions
• Providing patient and family education
• Educating staff
• Facilitating reduction in length of stay
• Coordinating standards of care from admission to discharge

Work Shift:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
• Three years of related nursing experience in specialty area
• Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
• Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA) may be required for some positions
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required
