Operating Room Registered Nurse

Position / Specialty: OR RN Shift: Will work 4x10s, days, (6:30a-5p), with holiday rotation, including 1 weekend working shift. Is on-call required? Yes, up to 4 weeknight call shifts per 4 week schedule. Weekend requirement: up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks. Will this traveler need to float within scope to meet facility needs/float between like units/sister facilities? Yes.

Required/Preferred years of experience: 2 years strongly preferred. First-timers accepted:
Yes. License required: SC or Multi State/Compact RN license. Certifications required: BLS, Radiation Badge (Radiation badge to be provided by agency). Trauma level required:

All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Guaranteed hours:
Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift.

Hospital highlights:
The main operating room is within a level-one, academic trauma center. There are 21 OR suites which cover all surgical specialties, to include; trauma, transplant, ortho, neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and robotics. The nursing teams consists of 75% registered nurses and 25% certified surgical technologists. RN's are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The main OR is a busy and dynamic nurse driven, magnet designated department, that provides cutting-edge technology to the citizens of SC.
