RN Nurse, Travel Nurse
Operating Room Registered Nurse
The position is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse. This role will require working four 10-hour shifts, from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM. On-call shifts will be required, with two call shifts per month on weekends. There will be a requirement to work up to one working weekend shift every four weeks. The traveler is expected to work at least one holiday period during their assignment.
The position requires floating within the scope to meet facility needs or between like units or sister facilities. A minimum of two years of experience is strongly preferred for candidates. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. The required certifications include BLS and a radiation badge, which will be provided. Candidates will be preferred if they have scrub experience. The operating room is part of a busy, dynamic environment.
The department is recognized for providing cutting-edge technology and is a nurse-driven team. Patients will include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams. Compliance with all required pre-start processes and documentation is necessary prior to the proposed start date.
