RN Nurse, Travel Nurse
Operating Room Registered Nurse
Will work 3 days per week, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. On-call requirements include up to 4 call shifts per month, which may include evening or overnight shifts. Schedule will include at least one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday) per month. Traveler will be required to work at least one holiday period during the assignment. Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs is necessary.
Candidates with 2 years of experience are strongly preferred, but first-timers will be considered. A South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license is required. BLS certification and a Clienttion Badge, provided by the agency, are mandatory. Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is strongly preferred. The operating room is a busy and dynamic environment. The facility offers advanced technology and surgical specialties.
Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The team consists of registered nurses and certified surgical technologists. Candidates should be open to accommodating block schedules as approved by management. Please note that all candidates must be prepared for the possibility of emergency response duties during hurricane season, which runs from June through November each year.
