RN Nurse
Operating Room Registered Nurse
Position requires an Operating Room Registered Nurse. The position includes 3x12-hour shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday. Floating between like units may be required based on facility needs. The main operating room is within a level-one academic trauma center. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. Registered Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures.
The operating room is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven environment with Magnet designation. Cutting-edge technology is utilized to serve the local community. Experience in Level 1 trauma is strongly preferred. The hospital handles a wide range of surgical specialties, including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, and Robotics. All Registered Nurses are required to wear scrubs provided by the facility. Module completion is required prior to the first day of work.
Travel may be required, and staff may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Candidates must be prepared to meet pre-start compliance requirements. All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission.
