Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant - Obgyn
The successful applicant will be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in working full-time in the care of women's health. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will join a busy and thriving Obstetrics and Gynecology Division that includes 28 ObGyn Specialists, 7 Gynecologic Oncologists, 3 Urogynecologists, 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine providers, 11 General OBGYN APPs. The ideal candidate will work in the outpatient clinic as well as either First Assist in the OR or work on L & D a few days per month.
MUSC Obstetrics and Gynecology strives to be a leader in women's care and to be the provider of choice for ObGyn in the Low country.
Job duties include providing direct care to patients through comprehensive history taking, physical examinations, evaluations, treatment, consultations, referrals, and surgical first assist in traditional and robotic Ob/Gyn related OR procedures. The candidate will also participate in quality/performance improvement activities, clinical research, and professional development.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various environments.
