This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Night shifts, 3x12 hours (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Job Description:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) will provide high-quality nursing care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The role involves both scrubbing and circulating surgical procedures, supporting a diverse range of specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedic, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care in the Operating Room setting.
- Assist with surgical procedures by confirming sterile technique and proper handling of instruments.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using the EPIC charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting preferred.
- Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with scrub roles is strongly preferred.
