Position:
Operating Room RN Shifts will be 3x12 hours. Mids shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM. On-call is required for up to 2 weekend call shifts per month. Travelers must work at least one holiday period. Holidays include Christmas and New Year's. Travelers will be required to float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates with 2 years of experience are strongly preferred.
First-timers are accepted. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. The facility operates as a level-one academic trauma center. There are 21 operating room suites covering all surgical specialties. The nursing team consists of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists. Nurses are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. The environment is busy and dynamic, designated as a Magnet department.
Travelers should be aware that assignments may occur during hurricane season.
