Schedule:
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3x12 hour shifts.
Job Description:
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a mixed unit providing care for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients, including support for those requiring ECMO and CRRT therapy.
- Provide direct patient care for pediatric patients in a mixed ICU and Stepdown unit.
- Monitor and assess patient's conditions, implementing care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Support families and patients through education and emotional support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience required.
- Current SC or Multi-State RN license required.
- BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
- Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred.
