PICU Registered Nurse (RN) - 3x12-Hour Shifts
Location:
South Carolina
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Will work 3x12s rotating shifts, alternating between day (07:00 - 19:30) and night (19:00 - 07:30) schedules.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated PICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The PICU provides intensive and intermediate care to children ages 0-18 and requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Participate in care planning and patient education.
- Assist with complex procedures and manage various technologies, including ECMO and CRRT.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience is required.
- Must have SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- Current certifications in BLS and PALS (American Heart Association accepted).
- Experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred.
