OR RN - Day Shift (3x12 Hours)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule:

Full-time, 3x12 hour shifts (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM). On-call required, up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks. Weekend and holiday work required.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced OR RN to join our dynamic surgical team at a Level 1 trauma center. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the operating room, encompassing both scrubbing and circulating responsibilities.

• Assist in prepping and monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Handle surgical instruments and supplies efficiently during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and effective surgical environment.
• Maintain accurate patient records and chart surgical procedures using EPIC.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience preferred. First-timers accepted.
• Current RN license in South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience in scrub functions is strongly preferred.
• Radiation badge will be provided by the agency.
