Registered Nurse - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-Hour shifts, Monday to Friday from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM. No major holidays required.

The Registered Nurse will work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) caring for a diverse adult inpatient and outpatient population. Responsibilities involve close collaboration with the Holding unit, Operating Rooms, surgical providers, and anesthesia partners to deliver exceptional patient care.

• Provide postoperative care and monitoring of patients.
• Administer medications and manage patient pain effectively.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in the recovery of patients, preparing them for discharge home or admission to other units.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; travel experience is mandatory.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Active SC RN license or multi-state/compact RN license is required prior to start.
