Registered Nurse – PICU

Pediatric Critical Care Nursing Position

Provide specialized pediatric critical care nursing in a float pool setting, working across multiple pediatric units to support patient needs and enhance clinical outcomes. Ensure high-quality care through adherence to established protocols and collaborative team approaches.

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in PICU, NICU, and CVPICU units. Float within scope to various pediatric units to meet facility staffing demands. Follow clinical protocols to monitor patient status, administering medications and treatments accurately. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans. Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records. Adhere to all safety, infection control, and hospital policies, including emergency response protocols.

Hold a valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license. Possess a minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU nursing experience. Be BLS and PALS certified, with AHA accepted. Demonstrate experience in ECMO and CRRT preferred. Willing to float across pediatric units as needed. First-time travelers accepted if they meet experience requirements.
