Registered Nurse – Operating Room

$1985.60/week –

Job Summary:

Provide perioperative nursing care in an ambulatory surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and supporting efficient OR operations. Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver quality patient outcomes and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist with surgical procedures within the operating room.
• Monitor patient vital signs, condition, and comfort throughout perioperative phases.
• Prepare sterile fields and ensure adherence to aseptic techniques.
• Document patient information, surgical details, and intraoperative events accurately.
• Support team members and adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety when required.
• Float within perioperative units as needed to meet facility demands and support staffing needs.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license, eligible for South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room nursing experience.
• Certifications including BLS, with a radiation badge if applicable.
• Knowledge of perioperative nursing practices, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days on a 3×12 or 4×10 schedule.
• Ability to adapt to floating responsibilities within scope of practice.
