Registered Nurse – Operating Room

$1933.92/week –

Job Summary:

The OR RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy and dynamic operating room environment, supporting various surgical procedures and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care for surgical patients.
• Assist in the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including physicians, surgeons, and technologists, to ensure efficient procedures.
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately using EPIC charting system.
• Support float coverage within scope to meet facility staffing needs across units and facilities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active SC or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience, with scrub experience preferred.
• Certification in BLS and Radiation Badge required prior to start.
• Demonstrate experience working in a Level 1 trauma center and with diverse surgical specialties.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
