Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Will work 3x12-hour shifts, Days (6:30 am - 7 pm), with up to 4 call shifts (EoS - 7 am) per month. Schedule includes one weekend shift every four-week schedule period.
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality surgical nursing care in a busy, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scrub and circulate surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in the operating room for a variety of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining surgical equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and effective operating environment.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Float to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet operational demands.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience is strongly preferred.
- Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience with scrub procedures is highly preferred.
- Radiation badge will be provided by the agency.
