Pediatric Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP)

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join the Division of Pediatric Neurology within the Department of Pediatrics. This full-time outpatient opportunity offers the ability to care for children and adolescents in a collaborative academic environment while helping expand access to specialized pediatric neurology services. The ideal candidate will bring pediatric clinical experience, a team-oriented mindset, and a passion for improving the lives of pediatric patients and families.
This position offers the opportunity to practice alongside experienced pediatric specialists while contributing to quality improvement, education, and clinical excellence.
Opportunity Highlights
Full-time outpatient pediatric neurology practice
Monday-Friday schedule, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Care for patients from birth through age 21
Academic environment within South Carolina's leading academic health system
Collaborative multidisciplinary pediatric neurology team
Opportunity to help grow and expand pediatric neurology services
Participate in quality improvement and clinical research initiatives
Potential to precept Advanced Practice Provider students
Evidence-based practice environment with strong physician collaboration

Candidate Requirements
Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program with licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physician Assistant, or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Pediatric experience required
Pediatric neurology experience strongly preferred
Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification prior to start date
South Carolina licensure eligibility required
